Rock Acupuncture NYC is staffed by licensed, board-certified acupuncture practitioners with decades of combined clinical experience. Each provider brings a distinct area of focus and a shared commitment to individualized, evidence-informed care.
Paul Lee, MS, PT, L.Ac
Owner and Founder
Paul Lee is the owner and founder of Rock Physical Therapy and Acupuncture PLLC. He is a licensed acupuncturist in New York State and a nationally board-certified acupuncturist through the NCCAOM.
Paul holds a Master of Traditional Chinese Medicine and completed his clinical training at Massachusetts General Hospital and Beth Israel Medical Center. He later served as Director of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at a leading New York medical system, and has held roles as Center Coordinator for Clinical Education, rehabilitation consultant for multiple specialty clinics across the greater New York area, and physical therapy liaison to the orthopedic unit at Continuum Health Partners.
He is a published author in the areas of modalities and neuromuscular disorders, and has treated more than 15,000 patients with orthopedic and neurological conditions throughout his career.
Paul holds advanced certifications including:
- Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA)
- Neuro-IFRAH and LSVT BIG for stroke rehabilitation and Parkinson’s Disease
- Schroth Method C1 Certification for scoliosis and spinal deformities
- Dry Needling Certification for sports and musculoskeletal injuries
Outside of his clinical practice, Paul is a former all-state wrestler who continues to train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and boxing.
Natalia Medero L.Ac
Diplomate of Chinese Medicine, Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine
Natalia Medero is a licensed acupuncture physician and board-certified practitioner through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She holds a Diplomate of Chinese Medicine and earned her Doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the University of Bridgeport.
Natalia studied abroad at the Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Shenyang, China, where she completed her internship certificate in Chinese medicine.
Her introduction to acupuncture was personal. After sustaining a significant neck and back injury in a motor vehicle accident, Natalia was treated exclusively with acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine on the recommendation of her primary care physician. The results she experienced firsthand led her to dedicate her career to the practice.

Mimi Liu DACM, L.Ac
Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine
Dr. Mimi Liu is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and a licensed acupuncturist. She specializes in integrative pain management, women’s health, fertility, and stress-related conditions.
Dr. Liu brings advanced clinical training in electroacupuncture, dry needling, cupping, gua sha, myofascial release, and neuromuscular re-education. Her treatment approach integrates traditional East Asian medicine with modern anatomical knowledge, orthopedic assessment, and manual therapy.
At Rock Acupuncture NYC, Dr. Liu works closely with physical therapists and other providers to develop individualized treatment plans that address both the presenting condition and its underlying cause. She places strong emphasis on patient education and lifestyle guidance as part of the recovery process.

Robert has practiced across a range of clinical settings, including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City and Basking Ridge, where he provided oncology-related acupuncture care.
